Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join a school-based program in the Greater North Chicago area. The caseload spans one site, primarily pre-k through 12, with a schedule that supports work-life balance.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and provide PT interventions in a school setting, including attendance at IEP meetings and collaboration with staff to support student goals.

Qualifications

• IL state PT license must be active.
• CPR/BLS certification currently valid.
• Pediatric PT experience in school settings preferred.
• Two-step PPD clearance required.
• State and contract compliance requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' medical history and physical conditions to tailor care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with goals and conditions.
• Administer PT interventions including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and devices.
• Attend school meetings and IEPs.
• Maintain ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.

Overview:

• Schedule: M - F
• $60/hour+ for qualified PTs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' medical histories and physical conditions to develop an understanding of their needs and limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, taking into account the patient's goals, lifestyle, and any existing medical conditions
• Administer physical therapy interventions, which may include exercises, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities (e.g., heat or cold therapy), and assistive devices
• Attend school meetings and IEPs
• Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines outlined by relevant healthcare regulatory bodies

Qualifications:

• IL state PT license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Pediatric PT Experience
• Current two-step PPD
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
