Physical Therapist (Part-Time - In-Person) - Anson County, NC

At MIYO Health, we believe every child deserves access to the support they need to grow, move, and thrive. We're seeking a dedicated, experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a part-time, in-person role based in Anson County, North Carolina.
This opportunity involves working approximately 1.5 days per week, with the possibility for a half-day to be conducted virtually, depending on student and district needs. The current caseload includes approximately 10 students from preschool through middle school.

What You'll Do
As a school-based Physical Therapist, you'll work with students who have physical and mobility challenges that affect their ability to access the school environment. You'll assess students, develop and implement treatment plans, collaborate with school staff, and support student IEP goals.
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations to assess student motor and mobility needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in person
- Support student participation in classroom and school-based activities
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with special education staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and updates
- Ensure documentation meets district and Medicaid compliance standards

Requirements
To apply, you should have:
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy License
- At least 1-2 years of pediatric or school-based PT experience
- Strong understanding of IEPs and educationally relevant therapy
- Ability to travel locally within Anson County
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with North Carolina's ECATS system
- Understanding of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Health Information Handler (CMS HIH) procedures
- Experience with Medicaid documentation and billing
- Comfort adapting therapy to various educational environments
