Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescriptions, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients, and documenting according to policy.
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed. Twelve (12) weeks of clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.
Current PT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho and stroke education/training as mandated by Houston Healthcare policies.
Utilizes a variety of physical therapy equipment including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, whirlpool, iontophoresis, TEN's units, paraffin bath, fluidotherapy, Biodex, biofeedback, traction, and exercise equipment.
