RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Physical Therapist at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center to restore function and improve mobility. You will work with physicians, patients, families, and the care team to develop individualized treatment plans and discharge strategies, ensuring safety and independence.

The role requires a DPT, NJ licensure, BLS certification, and a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week). Compensation reflects NJ market with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• BLS Provider Certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients using standardized tools to set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Administer physical therapy treatments per clinical standards and policies.
• Monitor progress, document responses, and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Develop discharge plans with home exercise programs and patient education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with daily billing documentation.
• Communicate progress and care plans with physicians, families, and the health team.
• Supervise PTAs to ensure quality care and compliance.
