Job summary

Fawcett Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength and mobility. You will assess needs, create goals, and develop personalized plans with the care team.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, educate patients, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure smooth recovery and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy.
• Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist (active).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Customer service abilities with strong listening skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, and document outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive patient-centered care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding values.
