Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to restore function and improve quality of life for patients. You will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based interventions, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes while educating patients and families on safe, independent exercise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• State of Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery.
• Lead by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity.
