Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Physical Therapy (Required) or equivalent.
• Masters Degree, Physical Therapy (Required) or Doctoral Degree, Physical Therapy (Required).
• 1 year Physical Therapy experience (Preferred).
• Licensure: Virginia PT license (Required) and CPR/BLS certification within 30 days (Required).

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care.
• Reassess the patient timely, based on practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Builds trusting collaborative relationships with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient care needs.
• Assists in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students.
• Carries out treatment plan and modifies to maximize therapeutic benefit and meet discharge criteria.
• Utilizes testing results and updates plan of care based on guidelines.
• Educates patients and family members about the recovery process.
