Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, design personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation. You will work closely with physicians and the care team to restore mobility and improve outcomes.

You will monitor progress, educate patients and families, document results, and collaborate with disciplines to ensure a seamless recovery.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy is required.
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy (BLS within 90 days).
Clinical affiliations with acute care procedures (orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, burns/open wounds) are helpful.

Responsibilities

Evaluates patient abilities and develops personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
Delivers evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
Monitors progress, refines therapy plans, and documents outcomes.
Educates patients and families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety.
Collaborates across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
Mentors therapy assistants or students and upholds hospital values.
