Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, design personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation. You will work closely with physicians and the care team to restore mobility and improve outcomes.

You will monitor progress, educate patients and families, document results, and collaborate with disciplines to ensure a seamless recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy (BLS within 90 days).
• Clinical affiliations with acute care procedures (orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, burns/open wounds) are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient abilities and develops personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Delivers evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitors progress, refines therapy plans, and documents outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Role Summary: Evaluates patients, develops care plan to treat patients, uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care and communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Teaches and mentors other staff and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement. May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department.

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
• Required License: Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Preferred Experience: Clinical affiliations having a wide variety of acute care procedures, especially orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary and care of burns/open wounds are helpful.
