Sanford Health in Rapid City seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to plan, organize and deliver therapies that improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent deformities for diverse patients.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with teams while adhering to guidelines and safety standards.

This full-time role requires BLS and state licensure, with opportunities to supervise trainees and contribute to post-acute and home health programs.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
• Documents client’s information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans; educates clients and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• Interacts with diverse stakeholders and may supervise assistants, aides, and students; contributes to education and training within the department.
