Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. You will direct care for patients and supervise therapist assistants, with opportunities to orient and guide staff.

The role requires a PT license in Georgia (or compact privileges) and BCLS certification. A BS/MS/DPT is required, with CEUs maintained as per state rules. Two years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support through AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
