Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy across child to geriatric populations. You will develop and follow a care plan, evaluate and document patient progress, and coordinate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and current Georgia state licensure. Internship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Current license holder of the Georgia Board.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an approved school for a Physical Therapy.
• Minimum Experience: Internship preferred; one year of internship noted.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically prescribed therapy to restore function and prevent disability.
• Establishes a plan of care aligned with medical findings and physician orders; documents procedures.
• Evaluates, monitors, and reassesses patients; coordinates care with a team; supports discharge planning.
• Contributes to department operations; maintains productivity standards and efficient patient flow.
• Communicates effectively with staff and patients; demonstrates teamwork and professional behavior.
