Job summary

Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy across life stages within NGHS programs.

Qualifications

• Current license holder of the Georgia Board
• Bachelor's Degree, Graduate of an approved school for a Physical Therapy
• Minimum Experience: Other

Responsibilities

• Provides cost-effective and high quality care to patients served.
• Establishes a plan of care consistent with the medical findings and Physician orders.
• Thoroughly evaluates, monitors, and reassesses all patients on a timely basis as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
• Coordinates all patient care and demonstrates consistent clinical competencies.
• Documents treatment procedures within the appropriate professional standards of practice and in compliance with department and third party payors guidelines.
• Accomplishes good clinical outcomes and designs proactive discharge plans utilizing a team approach as demonstrated by cost management of patient stay and utilization for outside resources.
