Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient-focused care in in-patient or out-patient settings. You will assess, treat, plan, implement, educate, and communicate to maximize functional goals for patients.

Requirements include a VT PT license, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), BLS, and strong communication and teaching skills. Per diem role with competitive wages and benefits available.

Description

The Physical Therapist, in an in-patient or out-patient setting, will use the physical therapy process in the delivery of patient care to carry out an individualized program of physical therapy to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals including:

• Assessment

• Communication

This position requires a minimum of 36 hours a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program


• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (preferred)


• Previous healthcare experience (preferred)


• Current Physical Therapist license in Vermont in good standing.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.


• Interpersonal skills

Salary Range

The Premium Per Diem role is $65.00 per hour and is not eligible for differential pay (i.e., \"per diem\", \"shift\", \"weekend\" or \"holiday\").
