Overview

Lakeway, Texas

Physical Therapist - Inpatient

PRN

Hours vary: Monday - Friday availability

Must be available for two weekend day shifts a month

PRN Rate: $60/hr

Responsibilities

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician directions. Responsible for delegation and supervision of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional, patient-centered treatment programs facilitating effective return to community, vocational, or academic activities. Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and co-workers. Performs other professional duties related to patient care, development of therapy services, and program delivery.

Specific Duties:

1. Evaluate the patient's level of functioning and develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with patient and family goals.
2. Participate in discharge planning, including patient and family education and recommendations for DME and community mobility as appropriate.
3. Minimum of 2 weekend days per month required for inpatient rehabilitation hospital shifts, totaling at least 24 shifts per year.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Previous experience working with the adult neuro population preferred.

Qualifications
