Physical Therapist - Inpatient

PRN

Hours vary: Monday - Friday availability

Must be available for two weekend day shifts a month

PRN Rate: $60 /hr

Responsibilities

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician directions. Responsible for delegation and supervision of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional, patient-centered treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community, vocational, or academic activities. Serves as an educator to patients, families, students, co-workers, and self. Performs other professional duties related to patient care, discipline-specific therapy services, and program development.

Specific Duties:

• Evaluate the patient's level of functioning and develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with patient and family goals.
• Participate in discharge planning, including patient and family education and recommendations for DME and community mobility as appropriate.
• Provide inpatient rehabilitation services, with a minimum of 2 weekend days per month, totaling at least 24 shifts per year.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in acute or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Previous experience working with the adult neuro population preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.
