Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Northern Metropolitan Residential Healthcare Facility in Monsey, NY. Per diems are supported by mentorship, clinical guidance, and opportunities for career growth in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, planning rehabilitation programs, and supervising PT assistants while maintaining confidentiality and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold a current New York State PT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
