Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) for Northern Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Nanuet, NY. You will evaluate residents, plan rehabilitation programs, and supervise PT assistants to support patient recovery.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and flexible scheduling with opportunities for mentorship, ongoing clinical support, and access to advanced rehab technology while delivering high-quality care to residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contributes to team effort.
