Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Physical Therapy (PT) position in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Argyle, NY. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, relieve pain, supervise assistants, and uphold confidentiality in a collaborative team environment.

We emphasize mentorship, weekly pay, flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow within a technology-enabled rehab setting with dedicated colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contributes to team effort.
