Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) at Northern Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, located in Nanuet, NY. The team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art gym, and therapists help improve residents’ function and independence.

You will evaluate conditions, develop rehabilitation plans, and guide therapy sessions. New grads welcome with mentorship and clinical support to grow professionally while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
