About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate, energetic, and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric therapy team! You’ll work with children from birth to 18 years in a variety of settings including homes, schools, clinics, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and group speech-language therapy sessions
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain timely documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries)
  • Communicate regularly with families and provide home practice activities
  • Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
  • Collaborate with SLAs, OTs, PTs, and other team members
  • Attend team meetings and supervision sessions
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment
Supporting Functions
  • Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with families and staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Encourage patient and community involvement
  • Promote positivity among coworkers
  • Participate in professional training and extracurricular activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Achieve and maintain high productivity levels within the schedule and billable hours assigned
  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability to reschedule missed sessions and promote productivityMaintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
  • Adhere to dress code and other facility requirements
  • Report to work regularly and punctually
  • Collaborate effectively with all LPS staff members and families
  • Adhere to LPS policies, norms, and procedures
Qualifications
  • Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current SC PT license (or license eligible)
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
