Compleat Kidz in North Carolina is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join its pediatric outpatient team. You will evaluate and treat children birth to 18, discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, working with diverse caseload, and educating families. Requires a DPT and NC licensure; 1 year pediatric experience preferred; new grads considered; background check.

We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech, and ABA Therapy services to children birth to 18 years of age in our 18 clinics using a play-based model.

Physical Therapist (Pediatric) Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• DPT degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Active North Carolina Licensure in good standing.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Complete evaluation, treatment, consultation, and discharge planning for children in an outpatient clinic.
• Accurate documentation in EMR system.
• Detailed and thorough communication with child's healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
• Assess and make recommendations regarding appropriate assistive technology and/or adaptive equipment as needed.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
