Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on organizing and conducting prescribed therapy to improve patient function and mobility while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, be licensed or eligible for NM licensure, and obtain BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Physical Therapy in the State of NM.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, or emotional impairments to help reach optimal function within their physical limitations.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.
