Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM invites a Day shift, full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The role focuses on organizing and delivering medically prescribed physical therapy, helping patients reach optimal function within their physical limits.

Qualifications include a BS in Physical Therapy, NM licensure or eligibility, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred: MS/PhD in PT and 1 year of related experience.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Physical Therapy in the State of NM.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments to assist in reaching optimal function.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

Responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps to assist in reaching optimal function within their physical limitations. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
