Job summary

Inova Physical Therapy - Dulles South/Chantilly is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join the team. This role will be a Full Time (31.75 hours/week), Day Shift, Monday-Friday with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Physical Therapist(PT) Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure:Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
• Certification:BLS through the American Heart Association upon start

Preferred Qualification:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
• Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) experience
