Job summary

Inova Health's Outpatient Physical Therapy Center – Prosperity is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Fairfax, VA team. This Full Time, Day Shift position includes Monday–Friday with two evenings until 7pm; clinic hours are 7am–7pm Monday–Thursday and 7am–4pm Friday.

Work location: 8501 Arlington Blvd, Suite 200, Fairfax, VA 22031. Inova is a national leader in safety, quality and patient experience and regularly recognized as a top employer in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• VA license or compact privileges required for licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon start.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
