Physical Therapist (PT)

Inova Physical Therapy - Ballston is looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage. Clinic hours are Monday‑Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. We offer a 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re‑evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start

Preferred Qualification

• Physical Therapist (PT) experience
