Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment in the United States. You will assess referred patients, provide direct PT care, and establish treatment plans under physician direction.

The role requires graduating from an accredited PT program, current state PT licensure or in process, and CPR certification. You will collaborate with multiple disciplines and receive benefits including competitive pay and housing

• Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in licensure process.

• Develop a plan of care for each PT patient.

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist / PT to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients that require rehabilitation services.
• Provide direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients.
• Document and record patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT.
• Current CPR certification.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
