Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a per diem home health visit position in our Scotland County office, located in Laurinburg, NC. This role involves providing rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric clients across territories in Scotland and Robeson counties.

As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team delivering skilled nursing and rehabilitative services to help clients remain at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
2. Perform diagnostic tests such as mobility, joint range, stability, ambulation patterns, muscle strength, balance, and safety assessments.
3. Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapy, gait training, and balance interventions.
4. Assess and update care plans regularly, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
5. Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
6. Document client care and interventions accurately using electronic tablets.
7. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.

Qualifications:

1. Current North Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license.
2. Graduation from an APTA-approved program or equivalent.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in computer use; EMR experience preferred.
