Job summary

ACHE in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Therapy Physical Therapist (PT) to join the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus team. You will evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and deliver prescribed therapy in line with APTA standards and Kansas practice acts.

This role requires a Kansas PT license, a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, BLS within 14 days of hire, and provides opportunities for professional development and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
