Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients at Pivot at San Remo in Richardson, TX. You will work under state practice guidelines, develop goals, and coordinate care with the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
• Must have good communication skills and relate professionally to patients, family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for diagnoses, medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Sets measurable goals and develops a treatment plan to maximize independence and function.
• Supervises PT assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and related activities.
• Communicates evaluation findings and treatment plan to patients, families, and team members.

QualificationsEssential Functions:

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
