Job summary

Bishop McCarthy Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to join a team-focused facility where growth and resident comfort drive our daily work. A valid PT license is required, with opportunities for PRN assignments and a supportive work environment.

The PT will evaluate residents, craft individualized treatment plans, supervise PTAs, and contribute to program development with evidence-based care. Must hold a degree in Physical Therapy and be licensed.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy and be licensed.
• Strong in identifying patient needs in long-term residents; a team player and time-efficient.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and screenings; set patient goals and develop treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide quality physical therapy with personalized and evidence-based care.
• Document progress toward objectives in the patient chart.
• Oversee PTAs and supervise on-site interventions and documentation.
• Develop and implement new programs/techniques to enhance therapy services.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment plans.
• Manage workflow and allocate time for documentation in electronic records.

Physical Therapist PT QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for a Physical Therapist PT who has the desire to implement high-quality Physical Therapy services. Looking for a Physical Therapist who is strong in identifying patient needs in long-term residents, a team player, and efficient with their time.

Physical Therapist PT Responsibilities:

• Performing evaluations/screens, establish patients goals, develops individualized treatment plans, developing treatment and discharge plans
• Provide quality physical therapy services encompassing personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistant(s) and provides onsite supervision of treatment interventions and clinical documentation
• Developing and implementing new program/techniques to enhance physical therapy services.
• Conducting patient and family education
• Independently manage workflow which includes allotting time for treatment documentation of individual treatments and notes in the electronic records system

Must have a degree in Physical Therapy and must be licensed.
