Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in The Dalles, Oregon. You will evaluate patients and provide therapy services per the plan of care and physician orders, documenting progress and outcomes in the chart.

The position offers weekly pay of $2,947, a 40-hour work week, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance plus a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of PT experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB screening or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and document therapy services per plan of care.
• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders when applicable.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
