Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a contract full-time position in Annapolis, MD. The role requires evaluating patients, developing and providing therapy as outlined in the plan of care and physician orders when applicable, and documenting progress accordingly.

The position offers hourly pay of $60 with a 40-hour work week and standard healthcare benefits as outlined by Amergis. Prior PT experience is preferred and CPR certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and provide therapy services according to the plan of care and physician's orders when applicable.
• Document therapy services and progress notes for each patient in the chart.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
