Job summary

Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center seeks caring Physical Therapists to join our Rehab Team on a PRN basis in the University City area of Philadelphia. You will evaluate residents and develop individualized plans of care using standardized tests and measures, coordinating with other disciplines to address patient needs while supervising PTAs and students in line with state requirements.

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Pennsylvania.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized plan of care based on initial evaluations.
• Refer to other disciplines as needed to address patient needs.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, students, and support staff in accordance with state requirements.
• Perform other duties to provide quality resident care.

Job description

Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 123-bed skilled and long-term care facility located in the University City area. We are looking for caring and compassionate Physical Therapists (PT) to join our Rehab Team!

Shift Type: PRN

Job Responsibilities-

• Based on findings from the initial evaluation, develop an individualized plan of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement.
• Identify the need for and make a referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state license requirements and professional standards
• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have graduated from a Physical Therapist curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), or its successor organizations.
• Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills
