Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT). The role involves evaluating and treating patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions within approved guidelines.

A California PT license is required, with 1 year of experience preferred and a potential sign-on bonus. Compensation ranges from $99,840 to $124,800 annually, with full/part-time options and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy required or equivalent.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Current California PT license required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge of residents.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education

Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
