Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) in Glendale, CA. The PT will evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, perform tests for strength and ROM, and implement plans of care within regulatory guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold a California-licensed PT degree (B.S., M.S., or DPT). A sign-on bonus is available, and the role offers full- or part-time schedules with strong benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
