Summary:

The PT (Physical Therapist) plans and administers prescribed physical therapy treatments to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. The Physical Therapist also supervises physical therapy assistants and aides and may instruct students in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
