Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract–full-time position in Easton, MD. The PT will perform patient evaluations and deliver therapy services per the plan of care, documenting progress as ordered by physicians.

Requirements include MD licensure, graduation from an accredited PT program, and CPR where applicable; prior PT experience is preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patientevaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient andphysician’s orders when applicable.
