Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We offer schedule flexibility and a patient-centered care approach in a warm, supportive environment.

As part of the therapy team, you will provide skilled PT services to residents and patients, covering short-term and long-term care populations as caseload demands arise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; current, unrestricted Alabama PT license.
• PTA option: Graduate of an accredited PTA program; current, unrestricted Alabama PTA license.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible, as-needed schedule.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and develop or carry out individualized treatment plans (PT), or deliver treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT and per the established plan of care (PTA)
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with facility, state, and CMS requirements
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals and discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
• Maintain compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. About the Role

As a member of our therapy team, you will provide skilled physical therapy services to residents and patients across our short-term rehabilitation and long-term care populations. You will work as needed to cover caseload demand, staffing gaps, and peak census periods.
