Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our acute care team in Alabama. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions across a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and educate patients and families to support recovery. A 2+ year acute care background and Alabama PT license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Alabama Physical Therapist license (license).
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification.
• 2+ years of acute care experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function.
• Deliver evidence-based PT interventions across a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and long-term outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with billing, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Recognize when patients have achieved optimal benefit and adjust plans accordingly.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification
