Job summary

Cherrydale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab team. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians to support discharge planning and ongoing recovery in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

We welcome both experienced therapists and new graduates; Virginia license or active licensure pursuit is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Virginia Physical Therapy License
• Graduate from an approved Physical Therapist program; actively pursuing licensure if graduate
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops effective treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for PT services from the referring physician.
• Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan and participates in discharge planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment, and charges.
• Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides.
• Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
