Job summary

Burke Health & Rehabilitation Center in Burke, Virginia is seeking a caring, licensed Physical Therapist who is currently licensed in Virginia to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, supervise staff, and participate in discharge planning to help patients recover skills and return home to family and friends.

Qualifications

• Virginia Physical Therapy License required or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for services from referring physician.
• Supervises PTAs and Aides; conducts discharge planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment, and charges; screens residents for PT benefit.

$10K Retention Bonus for this FT Position.

PRN Positions are also available in addition to FT/PT.

Pay Range is dependent on Years of Experience and Status (FT/PT/PRN)

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician’s treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements

• Virginia Physical Therapy License
