Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Texas. This is a great opportunity to be a critical member of the patient care team and provide valuable support to our patients.

The role involves assisting with exercise, ambulation, and functional activities under the Physical Therapist, maintaining documentation, and contributing to program evaluation. Texas license and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas.
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned
