Job summary

AdamsPlace in Anderson, SC seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) to supervise and participate in rehabilitation therapies for patients with physical disabilities or injuries. The PT will supervise staff, provide prescribed therapies, and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include a BS or MS in Physical Therapy, SC licensure, and preferred supervisory experience. Active PT association membership is a plus. EOE.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS or MS in Physical Therapy as accredited by the APTA.
• Licensed or registered in the practicing state.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Active member of state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates portions of the treatment program to the licensed PT assistant.
• Instructs staff in delegated functions including precautions, progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short- and long-term goals approved by the physician.
• Maintains patient care records meeting third party requirements and state/federal regulations.

Position: Physical Therapist, PT

Qualifications

• One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

PT Position Highlights

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs the physical therapy staff in their delegated functions including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments and programs including the establishment of short-term and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re-evaluations.
• Maintains patient care records as designated by the HomeCare agency, assuring that third party reimbursement qualifications are met, as well as all state/federal requirements.
