Job summary

NHC HomeCare Anderson is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist supervises and participates in applying physical therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with disabilities, injuries or diseases, under physician orders.

The role requires a BS/MS in Physical Therapy, active licensure, and supervisory experience preferred; membership in PT associations is also favored.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a BS or MS in Physical Therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or registered to practice in the state.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise physical therapy services.
• Provide physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegate to the licensed physical therapy assistant as appropriate.
• Instruct staff in delegated functions including precautions and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluate, plan and supervise treatments with short- and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician.
• Maintain patient care records in compliance with third party requirements and state/federal regulations.

Position: Physical Therapist, PT - $10,000 Sign On Bonus for Full-Time

NHC HomeCare Anderson is looking for a Physical Therapist, PT to join our team!The Physical Therapist supervises and participates in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

• One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

PT Position Highlights:

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs the physical therapy staff in their delegated functions including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments and programs including the establishment of short-term and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re-evaluations.
• Maintains patient care records as designated by the HomeCare agency, assuring that third party reimbursement qualifications are met, as well as all state/federal requirements.
