Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Customer service and effective listening skills
• Critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform stationary work as needed

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans and document outcomes timely
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safe practices to promote independence
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive patient-centered care and smooth recovery
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare values
