Job summary

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center is seeking compassionate Physical Therapists (PT) for a PRN position in Colorado. Pay rate is $50.83 per hour as described in the job description.

The role focuses on helping patients rebuild and restore their lives within our rehabilitation team, with duties including screening, evaluation, treatment, documentation, and collaboration with family and care staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Complete screening process of all patients.
• Evaluate and treat patients referred for intervention.
• Document progress toward identified physical therapy objectives.
• Communicate patient status and needs to patient/family and care team.
• Integrate therapist’s role into the patient care team.
• Provide education and guidance to other health care professionals and community about physical therapy.
• Refer to other rehabilitative team members as needed.
• Develop and implement new PT programs/techniques to enhance services.
• Adhere to facility policies on safety, infection control, and emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of PT profession and healthcare environment.

Help Patients Rebuild and Restore Their Lives. At Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation services and are seeking compassionate and skilled Physical Therapists (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a PRN position.

Pay rate: $50.83 per hour.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). At least two years of previous work experience as a Physical Therapist is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete screening process of all patients.
• Evaluate and treat all patients who could benefit from intervention as referred by an approved referral source.
• Appropriately document progress toward identified physical therapy objectives.
• Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, patient’s family, relevant staff members, and other professionals included in the care plan.
• Actively integrate therapist’s role into the patient care team.
• Provide education, guidance, and support of other health care professionals and the general community about physical therapy.
• Make appropriate referrals to other members of the rehabilitative team.
• Develop and implement new programs/techniques to enhance physical therapy services and facility utilization.
• Adhere to established facility policies and procedures related to environmental safety, orderliness, risk management, infection control, and emergency situations.
• Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment.
• Perform other functions as required to fulfill the expectations of the Physical Therapist role.
