Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist - Flexi (PRN) for Inpatient Rehab (IPR). You will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce disabling conditions from disease or injury.

Provide age-appropriate education to patients and caregivers and supervise designated team members. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Virginia PT license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• Current Virginia license to practice physical therapy.
• BLS certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan individualized rehabilitative programs.
• Organize and participate in therapeutic activities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on ongoing care and self-management.
• Supervise and direct care provided by identified team members.
