Lifepoint Rehabilitation at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a PRN, days schedule. You will contribute to patient care, evaluate and design therapy plans, and supervise support staff in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications include a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, state license, and BLS within 30 days of hire. This role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient.
• Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed programs of physical therapy to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills.
• Directs and supervises PT assistants, students and other staff; communicates effectively.
• Administers treatment involving physical agents and equipment as appropriate.
• Evaluates, fits and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommends modifications.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress and reevaluation plans.
